Victoria has a secret and I caught it with the digital sensor of my iPhone

What happens when the Victoria Secret show is on tv and you have a new iPhone camera to play with? You take pictures of your tv and play with them in PS of course.

Hugs!

Posting Audio

Since Brian is the first to up some audio this is the first time we've come across this. It is no secret I don't know what I'm doing so I had to look. Blogger does not support direct upload like you mentioned so youtube works or you can throw the audio over to an audio hosting site like SoundCloud or something of the sort. You should then be able to link it in with full quality. Exclusive would be nice but then again, why hide talents under the proverbial rock of the "Art Is Contagious" Blog? If the world gets their grubby hands on it, let them eat cake!

Down in the Hole

So instead of writing my Shamanism paper tonight, I decided to spend the night doing this. Because I don't have a saxophone in Boston with me, I decided to record a version of this one song I've been messing with for a long time. I am neither a guitarist nor a vocalist, but this was fun to make. Oh and the weird saxophone in it was taken from another recording I did forever ago and I changed the pitch and tempo to fit haha good times.

Anyway it's Down in the Hole by James Taylor (without the chorus).

ps: apparently the only way to get an audio file onto here is to make a video, which I did, and the quality after putting it on here was so horrendous that I wasn't ok with you guys listening to that version of it. So until I figure something else out, here's a link to it on youtube. I'm all for being blog-exclusive, but the quality here was just too horrific. :)!

I'm finally posting my second shot! It's more heavily edited than I usually do, but I think it is quite successful! I hope you all will forgive me for my tardiness in posting.

Mixed Media Testing

Did a quick little test the other night with mixing paint and leaves. Not really wild about how it turned out but the process worked like a charm. Whatever that means.

I miss seeing new material from everyone!

Hey everyone,
I've noticed that we haven't been posting as much and I thought we might just need a challenge to get us inspired, so here's my challenge to you:

It's getting cold out, so I challenge you to post something that represents 'warmth'. Poetry, photos, drawings, paintings, crafts, anything.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with :)

First Attempt at an HDR

I was on my way to work yesterday and saw this tractor and I wanted it. So I pulled over and whipped out my tripod in record time and clicked a few pics and proceed. Here's my first attempt at an HDR. Not sure I'm wild about it yet but this is more of a surreal one. The lighting was completely overcast so it was a terrible test for HDR but ya gotta start somewhere.

F1 Rendering

Rendering of an F1 car in a parking garage I'm working on for work.

Stereographic Projection

So, I'm on this new HDR photography kick which I'll get to in a bit. In the process of exploring this HDR world I found this technique called stereographic projection. Well I like it. Just my first attempt but now I can take images specifically for the technique and you will join me because it's awesome. I'm going to attach the picture that inspired me even though it makes me look bad!
Here's my fist attempt with a picture I took of Chicago. It was the only pic I could find that sorta worked but it's low res because I stole it off of my facebook page.
This is the desired end result. This was posted by Berliner1017 on Flickr and its hawt. This also looks a lot better because it was derived from a 32bit HDR file (which is how I found it)
